Alejandro Cogollo se llev\u00f3 la victoria en la 2\u00aa edici\u00f3n del Mediterranean Golf Championship, disputada en el recorrido Lakes de Lumine Golf, del 24 al 26 de agosto, mostrando su solidez durante todo el Campeonato, y sin abandonar el liderato en ning\u00fan momento gracias a cuatro rondas de 72 (+1), 72 (+1), 70 (-1) y 68 (-3) para un total de 282 golpes (-3). Los tambi\u00e9n jugadores Agust\u00ed Quinquilla 290 (+6) y Josep Mar\u00eda Serra 293 (+9), se perfilaban como sus principales rivales en la \u00faltima y definitiva vuelta, aunque Alejandro Cogollo se mostr\u00f3 intratable y no les dio ninguna opci\u00f3n. Cogollo tambi\u00e9n fue el mejor jugador Sub-18, llev\u00e1ndose el trofeo que as\u00ed lo acreditaba, mientras que Josep Mar\u00eda Serra recib\u00eda el trofeo de Mejor jugador Sub-16.
