The Spirit of the Harmon Cup Shines Once Again in Its 27th Edition
On Friday and Saturday, October 17 and 18, the Real Club de Golf El Prat hosted the 27th edition of the Harmon Cup, one of the Club’s most emblematic and historic social tournaments.

A Jewel of the Social Calendar
The Harmon Cup is much more than just a tournament: it is a tradition that has remained alive for decades and forms part of the Club’s very DNA. Conceived in the 1930s, this exquisite piece of silverwork was safeguarded during the Spanish Civil War, when it was buried beneath the green of hole 9 to prevent its loss.
Decades later, it regained its splendor thanks to Mr. Claudio Güell, who generously returned the trophy to the Club in 2012, during the celebration of its centenary—allowing members once again to compete for one of the most cherished prizes in the calendar.

Two Days of Golf, Tradition, and Sportsmanship
This year’s edition was played on the Club’s emblematic Pink Course, designed by Greg Norman, which offered a first-class technical challenge. The course, in exceptional condition, demanded the very best from every player with its undulating fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and fast, precise greens.
Over the two days, the atmosphere at the Club was unbeatable: camaraderie, friendly competition, and excitement until the final putt. The prize-giving ceremony, held at the end of the tournament, was a particularly emotional moment—recognizing the champions and celebrating all the teams who, year after year, help keep the legacy of this historic trophy alive.
